Halls Decorating & Painting Contractors Ltd have been in the Building and Construction Sector for a vast number of years and have carryied out numerous contract that have varied in size and duration.

 

The company works hard with the contractor and the client to attain a high level of quality and workmanship on site to complete the works on-time and to their required standard.

 

The types of building works that Halls have carried out over the years has varied through the years. Refurbishment works such as accomodation blocks, hospitals, buildings, factories, schools and universities have been carried out to tight schedules and also working in areas where the public are in the vicinity. The new build projects consists of carrying out works from a conservatory to a multi-house development scheme.

 

Our company feels that continual improvement creates an important part of the company to expand. At present the company is accredited to CHAS, Constructionline, CSCS and ISO9001 and are members of the Painting and Decorating Association. To continually improve the company further, we shall be working towards our ISO14001 accreditation in January 2010.

 

All operatives employed by Halls Decorating and Painting Contractors Ltd are site trained, hold or working towards their CSCS certification and have training that includes asbestos awareness, manual handling, hydraulic lift and scaffolding erection.

 

 

Please find below an example of a refurbishment contract recently carried out: -

Revis Barber Halls of Residence, Bradford    This contract was a ten week contract to carry out the full decoration work to 156nr bedrooms, 12nr apartments, 8 toilet/shower blocks, 16 kitchens, 2nr large staircases and 9nr corridors.   The contract was based on working with the contractor and other trades to create a suitable working programme to help all trades complete on time.   To complete the works within the tight schedule, the companies operatives worked in teams to complete the works quickly and in a professional manner to suit the contractors requirements.

 

Below is an example of a recently completed New Build Contract recently carried out by our company: -

	Octavia Court, Bradford    This new build development compromised of the full internal and external decoration works to 27nr Houses and 20nr Apartments with communal areas.   The painting and decorating works were of five a month duration for the completion of the contract and working in accordance with the main contractor to aid a suitable programme and signing off schedule for the contract.

 

Below is an example of a specialist project that we carried out for one of our main contractors

Westgate Canopy, Halifax Town Centre   This contract consisted of the use of specialised products and high-level works to paint the steel-work of this canopy and the project duration being in a three month period.   The works was carried out in conjunction with the main contractor to create a suitable programme for completion.   Now the canopy is one of the most creative designs and structures within Halifax and recently won a local Civic Trust Award.   Although this project was classed as a construction based contract, the works have all the characteristics of an industrial project.
